Covid-19 Protocol

To safeguard the wellbeing of our valued guests, staff, suppliers and community, Future Found Sanctuary has implemented the following Covid-19 preventative protocols.

These protocols are overseen and carried out by our vigilant housekeeping team and represent the industry-leading health and hygiene measures. Our dedicated staff, from housekeeping, villa managers, back office and management are all fully vaccinated and the following represents additional measures in the prevention and management of Covid-19.

The below highlights some of the responsibilities of our team in relation to the health and safety of guests visiting Future Found Sanctuary. This is merely a summary, if you would like a full list of our Covid-19 protocols, please email info@futurefoundsanctuary.com.

In addition our Travel Desk is able to assist guests with the latest COVID travel polices and requirements.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

  • On-site PCR testing is available when required by guests before departure
  • We have strict protocols in place should a guest fall ill or experience Covid-19 symptoms. These protocols include isolation in guest suites and access to on-site testing.
  • We request that guests are comprehensively covered by their own travel insurance for medical related expenses that may be incurred.

STAFF EDUCATION & CONDUCT

  • ‘Best practices’ with regards to hygiene, health and Covid-19 safety are regularly updated and communicated to our staff.
  • Staff members are trained to achieve the highest possible hygiene standards as prescribed by leading authorities.
  • All staff wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
  • Daily temperature screening of all staff and on-site personnel has been implemented.

VEHICLES

  • All Future Found Sanctuary vehicles are disinfected before and after every transfer.
  • Drivers will wear masks and hand sanitizer is available within our vehicles.
  • Only one guest or group is allowed per vehicle.
  • Wearing of face masks is essential when travelling in vehicles.

ARRIVAL

  • All visitors to the property will need to sign in and follow Covid-19 entry protocols.
  • Sanitation and temperature checks will be carried out on anyone entering the property.
  • All luggage is disinfected upon arrival.
  • Hand sanitizer is located throughout the property.
  • Spare masks are available for guests.

GENERAL

  • Access will not be granted to those not wearing a face mask.
  • All deliveries are disinfected upon arrival.
  • Wearing of face masks for guests when in the proximity of other persons is highly encouraged.

CAPACITY CONTROLS IN PUBLIC AREAS

  • We have re-arranged our floor plan in public areas to ensure social distancing.
  • Demarcated dining spaces have been set up to ensure proper social distancing

FOOD PREPARATION

  • We have limited the number of staff on duty in our kitchen.
  • Our kitchen team will take particular care to wash, rinse and sanitize all food contact surfaces of all equipment on a regular basis.
  • Our staff will wear masks during the preparation of any food and drinks.

HOUSEKEEPING PROCEDURES

  • Housekeepers are limited to designated working areas and guest preferences will be taken into account when staff allocations are made.
  • Housekeepers will take particular care to regularly sanitize high-contact areas e.g., door handles, taps, remote controls.
  • Linen and towels are washed at high temperatures.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed throughout the property.
  • A full turndown service is available upon request.
  • Rooms will be aired and fully sanitized between guest stays.

GYM, SPA AND YOGA STUDIO

  • The gym and spa are regularly disinfected, and sanitizer is freely available to wipe down equipment after use.
  • Guest numbers will be restricted to ensure proper social distancing.
