Day 01 - 05
All year round is good for the Greater Kruger National Park area although it can be very humid in Greater Kruger Park falls between November and February. Even this period, which is known as the “Green Season” is a wonderful time to visit and is also the main birding season where baby animals and migratory species can also be seen.
Greater Kruger Park is considered a low-risk malaria area and we advise the use of anti-malarial prophylactics year-round. Consult your travel doctor for advice at least three weeks before departure to Africa.
Greater Kruger National Park is South Africa’s premier wildlife destination and Thornybush is considered to be one of the top private game reserves within this region. Game viewing will be excpetional as the area is a “Big 5” area and so all the usual animals such as buffalo, lion, elephant, leopards and rhino will be seen amongst others.
Saseka has 8 ultra-spacious tented safari suites on permanent foundations and with glass doors that open up onto your own extensive deck area. The walls of your suite may be made out of canvas but this is where the similary ends.
